Rachel Parcell, you know her, you love her,

you probably own one (or all) of her designs from her eponymous classic-with-a-modern-twist clothing brand. From her early partnership with Tan France to design, create and bring to life the brand’s first two sell-out collections, Rachel Parcell’s name is now synonymous with stylishly feminine and millennial-approved accessories, jewelry, bags and home décor; and lucky for us, this insta-savvy mogul is just getting started.


Current title/occupation?

Founder, CEO and Creative Director of Rachel Parcell Collection, currently sold exclusively at Nordstrom. Creator of the popular lifestyle website and Instagram, Pink Peonies.

What time do you wake up?

Currently? I’m lucky if I can get out of bed before 7:30 am. However, I’m pregnant and waking up in the mornings is currently my biggest struggle. My body is exhausted. When I’m not prego, I typically wake up between 5:30 and 6am.

One thing you must do every day?

I love to take a bubble bath with my favorite candle lit. I usually do this right after I lay my kids down for bed. I relax, and use it as a time to catch up on social media since that is a big part of my business.

Fallback career?

I don’t know if I necessarily have a fallback career in place, I love what I do and I pray I will continue to do it for as long as I am passionate about it. However, if I didn’t own a clothing line or lifestyle website, I would love to be a florist, graphic designer or interior designer.

Self-care hacks (in whatever form self-care takes for you)?

Take an hour a day for some ‘me’ time. Workout (for me it’s a mental challenge I love). Develop an amazing skin care routine that you religiously follow. It’s a great self-care hack AND your skin will thank you back!

Guilty pleasure?

Monday night- Bachelor nights!

How do you stay motivated?

I truly love what I do and that motivates me every single day. I’m grateful for the incredible community of women I’ve built on social media over the last 9 years and I’m even luckier that I get to call them my customers for the Rachel Parcell Brand now.

Power statement/personal motto?

‘The secret to your success lies in your daily routine’ .

Go-to motivation song?

Lose Yourself by Eminem lol. Favorite song on my running playlist!

Best career advice you’ve ever received?

Fearlessly pursue your dreams. Don’t let fear stop you from working to make your dreams come true! You can’t just dream- you need to make a plan and do!

Go-to beauty look?

SPF (I use The Protector), Tinted moisturizer, a little brow tint, mascara and gloss.

Hardest part of your job?

Balance. Much of my job can have blurred lines between my personal life since one of businesses is sharing my life on social media. Sometimes it’s hard to shut it off and not let those lines get blurred.

First job?

My first fancy corporate job was working on the design team for a local clothing company in SLC. I got to travel overseas and manage our production and learn about the product development process. Such an incredible learning experience.

Always in your purse?

Hand sanitizer, mints, The Pout, my pregnancy nausea medicine and a pink pen.

Most prized possession?

My baby blanket, her name is Marsha. I’ve had since I was a baby. Still sleep with her every night- and yes, I refer to her as a person.

Fave BBS product and why?

That’s a tough one because I have so many! A toss up between The Protector and The Pout. I use both of those products religiously every single day.
