1. Information We Collect

Personal Information. The types of information we collect that identify you or relate to you as an individual (“Personal Information“) include things such as the following:

  • Name, Date of Birth, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, username and password (for account administration), when you supply this information voluntarily.
  • Device ID, including IP address, which are automatically collected and, while they don’t identify you as an individual, do identify a particular computer or mobile device.
  • Geolocation (if you are using a mobile application and you consent to this function).
  • Financial account information and other payment information (that you submit to us for order processing).

      We may, from time to time, share the information you provide to us with trusted third-party marketing partners that we believe offer products or services that may be of interest to you.     Non-personal information may be used for any purpose not prohibited by law.     4. Cookies and Related Tracking Technology

    • What Are Cookies?
      BeautyBio and its agents use small text files called cookies, (collectively, “Cookies”). Cookies are small pieces of data that we and our agents place in your computer’s browser to store your preferences. Cookies are not themselves personally identifiable but may be linked to Personal Information that you provide to us through your online interaction with us.
    • Cookies help us improve the Sites by providing us with information about which parts of the Sites are most popular, enabling us to analyze technical and navigational information about the Sites, and helping us to detect and prevent fraud. We also use cookies and other data collection tools (such as web beacons and server logs) to help improve your experience with the Sites. For example, we use analytic service providers to help analyze how users use the Sites.       We use Cookies and other technologies, such as pixel tags, web beacons, and clear GIF files, to help manage our online advertising program. These technologies may enable us (or third party advertising services we work with) to learn which advertisements bring users to the Sites and Services. They also may enable us (or third-party advertising services we work with) to track the actions of users online over time and across different web sites or platforms to measure statistics of our marketing efforts, and to deliver electronic advertisements that may be more relevant to individual consumers and that will improve the consumer experience. As of this time, our Site is not configured to respond to do-not-track signals from a browser.
    • We use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how users access and use the Sites, as well as help us understand market trends and popularity of our products and services. As part of this process, we may incorporate tracking technologies into our own Sites, and some of our communications.

    5. How We Secure Your Information

    We strive to use reasonable safeguards to help prevent loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of Personal Information provided or collected through the Beauty Bio Site and Services. However, no system is perfect or can guarantee that unauthorized access or theft might not occur.

    6. How Long We Keep Your Information

    We keep your information for as long as is necessary in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected, our business needs, and our legal and regulatory obligations. If we dispose of your information, we will do so in a way that is secure and appropriate to nature of the information subject to disposal.

    The Sites and Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We will not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If we learn that we have obtained any personally identifiable information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information.

    8. Social Networking And Third Party Sites

    When you sign in or link to the Site or Services through any social networking service, such as Facebook, any information you supply (or have supplied) to us becomes subject to the privacy policy of that social network/service. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of such networks or services. You should consult the privacy policy of such networks/services. If you post information in a public forum it becomes public information. In addition, we may disclose your Personal Information to identify you to anyone to whom you send communications through the Site or Services, including through our gifting program.     Our business is located in the United States. Our online privacy practices are governed by the laws of the United States and the states where we do business.     • Limit the Processing of Sensitive Personal Information. If you live in California, you have a right to ask that Beauty Bio limit how it processes your sensitive personal information, subject to exceptions.
    • Opt-Out of Selling, Sharing, or Targeted Advertising. Our use of certain online tracking technologies may be considered a “sale”, “sharing”, or “targeted advertising” under applicable law. You can opt-out of this type of activity by selecting “Decline All” in our Cookie preferences banner or by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link .     Managing Your Account Information and Communications Preference

    By entering your phone number in the checkout and initiating a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Text marketing messages will not exceed thirty (30) a month. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase. If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you with in any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests will not be accounted as a reasonable means of opting out.     Notice of Sale and Sharing

    CALIFORNIA’S “ERASER BUTTON” LAW
    If you are a California resident under 18 years old and a registered user of the Site (as defined above), you can request that we remove content or information that you have posted to our website or other online services. Fulfillment of the request may not ensure complete or comprehensive removal (e.g., if the content or information has been reposted by another user).     Notice of Financial Incentive
    Skintellect is a voluntary loyalty program. By joining, you receive points every time you purchase on BeautyBio.com and can redeem those points for products and exclusive details. More information on this program is available at beautybio.com/pages/rewards.

    Under the CCPA, this is considered a Financial Incentive Program. In order to provide you with the incentives described above, we use personal information about you including your name, phone number, email address, purchase history, birthdate, etc. to identify you as a member of the program and provide you with relevant messaging, experiences, and deals. These financial incentives are reasonably related to the value of the data you provide.

    Colorado Loyalty Program Notice
    There are no categories of personal data or sensitive personal data collected through the Skintellect program that are sold or processed for targeted advertising. Certain categories of personal data and sensitive data collected through the Skintellect program may be shared with Third Party partners, such as name, phone number, email address, and purchase history.

    12. Nevada Privacy Notice

    SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
    If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right to submit a request directing us not to make any sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information as defined under Nevada law. However, to request email confirmation that we do not sell your personal information, please send an email to privacy@beautybio.com with “Nevada Opt-Out of Sale” in the subject line and in the body of your message.     HEALTH DATA PRIVACY NOTICE
    You have certain rights over how we process your health data under Nevada law. For the purpose of this section, “health data” refers to information that is linked or reasonably capable of being linked to you and that is used to identify any past, present, or future health status of you. This may include any health condition or treatment.

When you engage with our Sites, we may collect information concerning your skin and hair conditions, treatments, and preferences. The purpose of this collection is to provide you with product recommendations and services.
